Bab El Marsa marks the historic entrance between the medina and the port of Essaouira. This monumental gate recalls the commercial and maritime importance of Mogador, once turned towards trade between Morocco, Europe and Africa. You come across it naturally on a walk between the ramparts, the Skala du Port and the blue boats.
