Thirty-five kilometres south of Essaouira, La Perle de Sidi M'Barek leads to the village waterfall in the company of guides who live there. The path runs between argan and almond trees, follows the dune and the river before reaching the falls and the marabout — about forty minutes out, a little less back, stops included. The walk ends with tea in a Berber family's home, and comes in several forms: fishing when the weather allows, argan, sunset or a full day. Booking required.
